How Pottery Painting Works ?

You can choose your pottery online before you arrive, or when you get here.

The price of our ceramics is for the full activity, it includes your paint, glazing, firing and your time here, (cake and coffee can be purchased as an optional extra.

We have over 200 different bisque designs to choose from. You can see our current stock by clicking the link here

Every few months we add new designs, tools and paint colours.

POTTERY GLAZE AND FIRE: this is not an overnight turnaround, and can take up to two weeks, if you have a speedy request, please ask, though we do our best we can't make any guarantees. We have accounts for posting online orders and regularly post around the world, so if you are here on holiday we can assure you your ceramics can be sent, but the cost of the postage is not included in your time here and we can only vote that once firing is completed.

What if I am not artistic, or I need help?

My name is Cherrill, (AKA as Annie’s Granny), and that is what I am here for, to help guide you and help you achieve your goal, if you need it !

Duration …

We're often asked, "how long does it take?" Well, the answer is - it is up to you. Painting is different for everyone, we have a 'no rush' policy!

One of the special things at Annie's Place is that we have lots of space, and the luxury of being in a beautiful rural setting means that you can spend a morning creating, then the afternoon enjoying the nature eating cake.

We only ask that you remember we close at 6pm, (except for private bookings or adults only night).

About us...

Annie

The amazing Annie Boo! The grumpiest, but most beautiful BOSS of the show.

Annie Loves fish, gardening, sitting with me when I paint and climbing trees. She hates Henri, Choux and sharing anything!

Cherrill

I know most of you call me Annie, but I'm actually Annie's Granny, I really don't mind being called Annie, but I am officially Cherrill, sadly I'm nowhere near as pretty as Annie-cat, but I am great at catching mice! To read a bit more Learn more about Annie.

Choux

We brought Choux-Choux into the fold from a local cat rescue, she is a BIG GIRL, that is the easiest way to tell her apart from Annie. She is up all day, and is very nosy. Choux really loves small children and is very friendly.

A white cat lying on its back on a gravel surface, yawning with eyes closed and paws raised.

Henry

Henri loves chenille wool, crochet and playing ball with stones and grass. I always pick up a chunky stone when I am out for him to play ball with, he thinks he is Thierry Henry! He really is a lovely boy and has settled in so well!
